How awesome is that? It is said to cost about 1 million Euros and to seat 6 people. It will be produced in cooperation with Brabus - Mercedes just bought them a new facility to accommodate the exclusive production of the Pullman models.

When you want to look like a head of state, but not a head of taste.

They shouldve filled it with needlessly complicated hydraulics and called it the grosser.

I'd say it's classiest of all stretched head-of-state cars.

This will be Nibby's favorite car, in 50 years.
I wonder how much a used one of these will go for in 10 years.

Actually, no German ever called the 600 "Großer". I don't know where the myth came from, but somehow it sticks.

Didn't know that. I guess it's kinda like the beetle getting it's name from the public originally despite it not being it's official name.

Well, the Jaaaaag isn't what I'd call stretched, and that Russian monstrosity... The headlights ruin it.

Didn't some American magazine call the car "Beetle" in a metaphor when the Beetle became very popular in the NY?

I once saw a W220 Pullman for sale at my local dealership for a cool 100 grand. Lovely car, and it wasn't even black but beige/gold metallic.
This car makes me want to study hard and become some hedgefond mogul so that I can a) afford it and b) have some dude drive me around town to get breakfast.

Does it have a window that can be used to separate the passengers from the driver?
If so then I could get one some day and drink beer while being driven around.

I'm 100% sure it does. And there'll be a fridge too. This would be my party mobile - pick up 3 friends, turn on the music, drink beer. And smoke by standing up and leaning out of the sun roof.

I thought it was that at first. Hey it's only $11,000 for a pump switch.

Not sure where it originated actually, just that it became a common nickname then eventually became it's name with the new beetle.

One of those is a regular Jag XJ and the other is a horrendous riced-out monstrosity from the Soviet Union by the looks of it.
